The Senior Systems and Data Analyst within the National Fire Ant Eradication Program (NFAEP) Intelligence capability will be responsible for developing and delivering data-driven and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) solutions to support program intelligence functions. The role involves advanced data analysis, database management, and reporting, with a focus on ensuring data integrity, quality, and compliance. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide actionable insights and continuously improve data
processes and tools.

Key Responsibilities and Skills:

Data Analysis and Reporting: Perform complex data extraction, manipulation, and analysis using SQL, Power BI, ArcGIS, and advanced Excel. Develop dashboards, reports, and visualisations to support decision-making.

Database Management: Maintain and optimise relational databases, ensuring data integrity and compliance with governance policies.

Technical Expertise: Write SQL scripts and queries, conduct spatial data analysis, and apply best practices in data management and governance.
Problem-Solving and Innovation: Identify issues, develop practical solutions, and improve data analysis methodologies and tools for efficiency and scalability.

Stakeholder Engagement: Provide clear and professional communication, consulting with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver insights effectively.
