Are you passionate about road safety and ready to play an important role in your community? As a Driving Examiner, you will ensure Queensland roads are safer by assessing driver competence and promoting responsible road use.

Your Responsibilities:
Conduct practical driving assessments, ensuring candidates meet Queensland
Government standards and road safety regulations.
Assess driving skills, road rule knowledge, and the ability to operate vehicles safely in various traffic and road conditions. 
Provide clear, constructive, and professional feedback to applicants following assessments. 
Deliver assessments fairly and consistently, following departmental policies and procedures. 
Promote road safety awareness and contribute to reducing incidents on Queensland roads. 
Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure smooth and effective service delivery. 

Role Requirements:
A current and valid Queensland driver's licence is mandatory. An HC (Heavy Combination) or higher licence class or R (motorcycle) licence is highly desirable. 
Eligibility to obtain and maintain Driving Examiner Accreditation through the Department of Transport and Main Roads. 
A clean driving record with no significant infringements.
Flexibility to travel to neighbouring centres as required.
