The Opportunity
What you will do (key responsibilities/duties)

This role reports to the Senior Director, HR Operations within People and Culture team in Corporate.

As our Manager, Employee Relations and Integrity, you will:
• Provide high-quality strategic advice and support to the Chief People and Culture Officer, executives and senior management on sensitive and complex and high-risk people, integrity and employee relations matters.
• Manage the assessment of suspected corrupt conduct matters and facilitate the timely referral of matters to the Crime and Corruption Commission in accordance with legislative and policy requirements.
• Lead, manage and over-see complex workplace investigations and the case management of discipline, conduct and performance and grievances, ensuring consistent high-quality advice and sound risk management aligned to the Public Service Commission's (PSC) Conduct and Performance Excellence (CaPE) framework.
• Develop and implement programs and systems, including through policies and procedures, that align with legislative requirements and that contribute to the department's integrity framework to support reporting, risk management, process controls and decision making, such as but not limited to:
o Public Interest Disclosure management program
o Declarations and conflicts of interest
o Contact with lobbyist.
• Lead the design and delivery of integrity and preventative strategies to educate employees, promote a culture of integrity, and minimise risks of fraud and corruption.

• Prepare high-quality briefings, reports, submissions and correspondence to support informed decision-making.
• Build and sustain strong, trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and external agencies, including CCC, PSC, the Office of Industrial Relations, using effective influencing and negotiation skills to manage risk and achieve positive workforce and integrity outcomes.
• Represent the department in the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission, and other tribunals or authorities, and at interagency meetings and forums, and prepare associated submissions and documentation.
• Lead, manage and develop the Employee Relations and Integrity team, setting clear direction and fostering high-performing, collaborative and continuous improvement culture.
