About the Role
As the Senior Finance Office, you will provide specialist financial management and operational support across accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, debt management, reporting and financial governance functions. You will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of QLeave's financial operations while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and mentoring Finance Officers within the team.
Working closely with the Manager Financial Operations, you will contribute to efficient financial services delivery, ensure compliance with legislative and policy requirements, and support the achievement of organisational objectives.
Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Deliver end-to-end financial operations across accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations and transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Manage debt recovery activities, including complex cases, payment negotiations and monitoring outstanding balances
- Prepare and analyse financial reports, reconciliations and key metrics to support decision-making
- Contribute to month-end, year-end, audit and financial governance processes
- Mentor and support Finance Officers while assisting with workload coordination and team outcomes
- Identify and implement improvements to financial processes, systems, controls and documentation
- Provide high-quality financial advice and support to stakeholders

What We're Looking For

- Demonstrated knowledge of financial operations, including accounts payable, receivable and debt management

- Experience in preparing accurate financial reports and managing competing priorities
- Ability to mentor others and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, customer-focused financial services, including negotiation in financial matters
There are no mandatory qualifications for this role. However, qualifications in accounting, finance, business, commerce or a related discipline (progress towards) will be highly regarded.
