QBuild is offering an exciting temporary opportunity for a Program Coordinator (AO4) to provide high-quality business, administrative and coordination support to the Build to Enable Program, contributing to effective program delivery, governance and workforce readiness activities.

QBuild is a commercialised business unit of the Queensland Government and has been Queensland Government's builder for over 160 years. QBuild plays an important role in communities across the state by building and maintaining government-owned assets, including schools, social housing, police stations, correctional facilities and health infrastructure.

About the role

The Program Coordinator (AO4) plays a key role in supporting the Build to Enable (B2E) Program by providing high-quality business, administrative and coordination support across the program lifecycle. Working closely with the PMO Lead and program teams, the role supports governance, assurance, reporting, workforce readiness and day-to-day coordination activities to ensure effective program operations and successful outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating recruitment and onboarding activities with HR and relevant business units, ensuring new staff are efficiently mobilised with timely system and resource access
  • Providing administrative and program support, including coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, managing logistics and supporting daily program operations
  • Supporting the planning and delivery of workshops, planning sessions, agile rituals and stakeholder engagement activities, including coordination and follow-up actions
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date program documentation, registers, records and reports in line with governance and record-keeping requirements
  • Supporting assurance, audit and reporting obligations to ensure compliance with program and organisational standards
  • Assisting with financial analysis and data collection to support budget monitoring, forecasting and reporting
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Identifying and escalating risks, issues and improvement opportunities to support continuous improvement
