Your new opportunity:

Join Queensland's first Office of Social Impact and help build stronger partnerships between government and philanthropy. As Philanthropic Liaison Lead, you will connect community needs, government priorities and philanthropic interests to identify opportunities for co-creation, co-funding, scaling and shared learning. Working across sectors, you will support practical collaborations that attract investment to Queensland and deliver better outcomes for disadvantaged Queenslanders.

In this role, you will:

Lead the identification and development of strategic collaborations between government and philanthropic organisations, with a focus on measurable outcomes for marginalised Queenslanders.

Support partnership arrangements to align with existing or proposed government investments, initiatives, policies and frameworks, while maintaining compliance and effectiveness.

Keep stakeholders informed and engaged while upholding high standards of probity, transparency and accountability.

Build and manage trusted relationships across government and philanthropy, strengthening mutual understanding and long-term collaboration.

Provide strategic direction to align interests and unlock government and philanthropic resources in priority areas of social impact.

You build strong relationships, collaborate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups and communicate with confidence, adapting your style to different audiences and situations.

Strategic thinking and problem solving

You provide practical, solutions-focused advice, exercise sound judgement and work with others to deliver effective outcomes.

Sector knowledge and adaptability

You understand, or can quickly develop knowledge of, the Australian philanthropic sector and Queensland Government environment. You thrive in dynamic settings and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on results.
