Join Queensland Manufacturing Hubs-Townsville and play a leading role in shaping the future of manufacturing across North Queensland.
In this role, you will join a high-performing team delivering initiatives that support the continued growth and sustainability of the manufacturing sector. As Manager, you will work with manufacturers, industry leaders, local governments, education providers and partner agencies to support investment, innovation, workforce capability and business growth.
No two days are the same. From engaging with business owners and industry leaders to working with government and regional stakeholders on opportunities that support jobs, investment and innovation, you will play an important role in delivering outcomes that make a real difference across North Queensland. You will also lead a small team, ensuring services are delivered effectively and in accordance with departmental and legislative requirements.
We are looking for a results-focused leader with experience in business, industry, or government who is passionate about people, problem-solving, and opportunities.
Most importantly, you will bring strong communication and relationship-building skills, sound judgement, initiative and a genuine commitment to supporting industry growth and regional economic development. You will thrive in an environment that values collaboration, leadership, innovation and customer-focused service delivery.
