The Manager Business Support is responsible for leading the Business Support team to ensure effective delivery of a wide range of business support services in the areas of procurement; financial and management accounting; and general administrative support. The role provides a high level of support to the regional management team and other streams in delivering organisational reform outcomes and contributes to the overall future direction of the QAS by ensuring quality, timely and appropriate business support functions that ensure pre-hospital care and transport services are provided to the Queensland community within the region.
We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes:
- Highly developed leadership ability with demonstrated capabilities and experience in managing and coordinating the provision of financial and business support services to enhance frontline service delivery.
- Demonstrated highly developed communication, negotiation, consultation and collaboration skills and the ability to foster and maintain productive relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven success in the development and implementation of practical and effective governance arrangements in respect to financial management, procurement and administrative functions.
- Highly developed conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills including a demonstrated ability to interpret financial and trend/output/outcome performance data to drive performance improvement.
- Demonstrated commitment to implement practices which promote a fair and ethical workplace, employment equity, cultural diversity and occupational health and safety.
