About the role

  • Provide a comprehensive range of operational support functions to the Bribie Island Satellite Hospital.
  • Maintain a high-quality patient support and operational services which supports the commitments to the principles of patient focused care and quality management.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Provide a comprehensive range of operational support functions to the Bribie Island Satellite Hospital.
  • Maintain a high-quality patient support and operational services which supports the commitments to the principles of patient focused care and quality management.
  • Provide an informal communication service; provide direction/location assistance to staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Assist clinical staff with the provision of patient refreshments as required
  • Complete all dirty linen removal services, including moving dirty linen to the designated collection point, in accordance with all relevant task outlines, policies and procedures.
  • Collect and distribute clean linen throughout the facility
  • Work with the Facility Management team to successfully facilitate, promote and adapt to change to ensure continuous improvement in processes providing quality care and a clean environment to patients.
