About the role

Fixed term temporary part time and full time opportunity to provide strategic and operational leadership for Gastroenterology Services at Caboolture Hospital and is responsible for ensuring the provision of gastroenterology services of the highest possible quality. Creates a culture that attracts, trains, retains and empowers high calibre medical and other clinical staff within the department / program; including through fostering and maturing a relationship and program of collaboration with all Metro North Directorates.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Working collaboratively with internal clinical department leads and portfolio holders to further the objectives of the Program.
  • Managing the allocated resources of the program/department to achieve performance indicators and agreed outcomes.
  • Ensuring that a performance planning and appraisal system is effectively implemented for all medical staff in the service with links to credentialing and scope of clinical practice.
