The Midwifery Group Practice Clinical Midwife provides midwifery care for an allocated group of women, across the continuum of pregnancy, labour, birth and the postnatal period at an advanced level, whilst providing support and education to other team members in the Maternity Unit.

About your role:
- Influence and promote high standards of clinical practice within a multidisciplinary team.
- Promote cooperation, teamwork and understanding in undertaking generalist and/or specialist nursing/midwifery practices for effective health outcomes.
- Provide clinical leadership for professional and clinical practice, education and research.
- Effectively manage self-development and work with the Nurse/Midwifery Unit Manager/Clinical Nurse/Midwifery Educator to meet unit nursing staff development needs.
