About you:
In your new role you will:
- Assist the MNUM to implement and monitor the organisation's quality standards, work health and safety policies, procedures and programs and provide clinical governance in the relevant work area
- Function as a clinical resource to nursing staff and other health care professionals utilising clinical skills and knowledge in supporting the MNUM of the unit.
- Work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team utilising professional skills and ability to contribute to client centred care to meet the patient's individual health care needs.
- Demonstrate specialised knowledge, experience and clinical skills and competence within the Maternity Unit.
- Provide effective and efficient clinical support across all areas of the Maternity Unit and work in collaboration with the MNUM to ensure the maintenance of safe standards in patient care.
- Plan, coordinate and support the staff in complex situations and identify and adopt innovative clinical practice models.
