About the role:

The Pharmacy Assistant role is to undertake duties to relieve pharmacists of non-professional and technical tasks to ensure medication management services of the highest standard are delivered within the Central Highlands Health Service.

About you:

  • Non-mandatory qualifications/requirements: Successful completion of, or possession of skills equivalent to, or ability to successfully complete, a recognised Pharmacy Assistant AQF Level 3 training course is highly desirable.
  • Competent in computer skills. It would be desirable to have sound knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, or the ability to acquire this knowledge.
  • Demonstrated knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge, of relevant Pharmacy legislation, and Pharmacy services including dispensing prescriptions, inventory management, product storage and imprest services and the ability to perform these tasks while employing well developed organisational skills.

Salary information:

Total remuneration value of up to $82,130 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $34.53 – $36.30 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
