About us:
Emerald Hospital provides a range of hospital and visiting specialist services to the Emerald and Central Highlands region. Our vision, in our Destination 2030: Great Care for Central Queenslanders strategy is for Emerald Hospital to be the Central Highlands hub for emergency, maternity, diagnostic and some surgical services. We will invest in Telehealth technology to provide local access to services wherever possible.
The Pharmacy Department at the Emerald Hospital manages all medications across the Central Highlands hospitals, including the preparation and supply of all inpatient medication on the wards, and prescription and dispensary services for patients visiting the hospitals. In addition to this position, the pharmacy team also consists of a Senior Pharmacist and Clinical Assistant.
About the role:
The Pharmacist will function as part of a team and is responsible for the provision of a broad range of contemporary clinical Pharmacy services to the facilities within the Emerald hospital campus and other facilities throughout Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS), and participation in a broad range of Quality Use of Medicines initiatives.
About you:
- The successful applicant must hold at least a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in pharmacy and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a pharmacist in Australia (or eligible for registration in Australia).
What we offer:
Total monthly remuneration value of up to $8,837 is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $43.68 - $58.59 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
