EOI - Program Support Officer
Approvals and Review, Regulation Assessment and Service Quality Branch, Early Childhood Community Engagement
The Approvals and Review team is responsible for deciding applications made to the Queensland Regulatory Authority to operate early childhood services in Queensland in accordance with the National Quality Framework and Queensland Education and Care Services Act. As the Program Support Officer you will support the team in the development, coordination and monitoring of task to ensure quality outcomes within legislated timeframes and provide support in the areas of team project work and core business functions, data entry, records management and general administration, to help ensure the effective delivery of services to stakeholders.

This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest and accordingly any appointment (and extension to this appointment) will not extend beyond 12 months.
You will have responsibility for leading the following activities and undertaking the following key tasks:
- Provide support in the processing of applications and notifications under the National Quality Framework and the Education and Care Services Act 2013 (Qld) in relation to data entry, revenue and records management, and general administration.
- Respond to enquiries regarding the regulatory environment of the Division, including supporting preparation of reports and other executive and ministerial correspondence to provide coordinated, timely and accurate information.
- Effectively communicate with officers and individuals at all levels of the Division, the Department, other Government agencies, the Early Childhood Education and Care sector and community representatives.
- Maintain appropriate and accurate databases, including the Branch's records management systems and correspondence mailboxes.
- Provide support to other staff in the team to enable efficient service delivery to clients.
- Provide input into the development and maintenance of administrative and records management systems and procedures associated with team function and responsibilities with a view to identifying efficiencies.
