Deliver clinical social work services to consumers admitted to the Brighton Brain Injury Service and their families, to optimise psychosocial outcomes, maintain their health, functional ability, and quality of life. Brighton Brain Injury Service is a subacute service which provides intensive, extended inpatient rehabilitation and community transition services for adults under the age of 65 years with moderate to severe impairments resulting from an acquired brain injury.

About the Role

  • Deliver Social Work clinical services to consumers and their families at the Brighton Brain Injury Unit to address psychosocial needs, in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
  • Provide clinical advice related to Social Work service delivery to multiple key stakeholders.
  • Commensurate with level of experience in the role, provide student education and clinical practice supervision for less experienced clinicians, with the guidance of senior clinical staff as required.
  • Under s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991, there is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community.
