Lead a unique rural school community as Principal (Level 1) at Eungella State School in this temporary opportunity from 13 July to 11 December 2026.

This role offers the chance to build strong community connections while leading high-quality teaching and learning, student wellbeing and day-to-day school operations. You will work closely with staff, students and families to foster a positive, inclusive learning environment where every student is supported to succeed.

About the Role

As the Principal, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Drive a shared vision that achieves strong student outcomes.
  • Provide ethical, strategic leadership across the school.
  • Embed inclusive, socially just practices.
  • Set and maintain high standards for students and staff.
  • Build partnerships with parents, agencies, and the community.
  • Lead professional growth and oversee school operations.
