Emu Park State School is seeking an Administrative Officer to join the team!

This is a busy and varied role that requires someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and confidently manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.

The successful applicant will be highly organised, adaptable and able to prioritise competing demands while delivering excellent customer service to students, staff, families and the wider school community.

This position is being offered in a temporary part-time capacity (0.47 FTE), 34 hours per fortnight, worked across three days per week.

Step Into Your Next Chapter:

The successful applicant will become part of the school administration team, working collaboratively under the guidance of the Principal and Business Manager.

  • As an Administration Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the school and ensuring a welcoming and well-organised front office. You will provide high-quality administrative support to staff, students and families, maintain efficient systems and processes, and contribute to effective communication and school culture, accurate record keeping and the smooth delivery of school services.
  • Providing day-to-day administrative support as directed by the Principal or Business Manager, managing reception duties including telephone and counter enquiries, appointments, mail, email and routine correspondence, maintaining school records including enrolments, departures and student information, processing routine financial tasks such as receipting, banking, payments, orders and invoicing, and preparing documentation including meeting minutes, forms, newsletters, reports and routine correspondence.
    The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent organisational skills, sound judgement, attention to detail and the ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team.
  • A commitment to confidentiality, inclusivity and delivering outstanding service to our school community is essential.
