We are seeking a highly organised, proactive and collaborative Administrative Officer (AO3) to provide administrative support across staff supervision, relief staffing, whole-school events and key school projects. The successful applicant will work closely with Deputy Principals, line managers and staff to ensure the smooth coordination of daily school operations and events.

About the Role:

The role will be responsible for communicating with line managers regarding the completion of teacher supervisions and completing and maintaining OneSchool supervision records daily. The successful applicant will also coordinate and book supply teachers, strategically map staff absences and arrange relief coverage in advance to support effective workforce planning.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide administrative support for whole-school events, including:
    • Transition Nights
    • Parent Teacher Interviews
    • Other school events and activities
  • Coordinate event-related communication with staff, students, parents and relevant stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Deputy Principals to support administrative tasks related to:
    • Events
    • Projects
    • School priorities
  • Provide administrative and communication support to the Timetabling Deputy Principal.
  • Assist with administration relating to:
    • Staff absences
    • Staffing changes
    • Relief staffing requirements
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach, using initiative to anticipate needs and respond effectively to changing circumstances.
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Communicate effectively and build positive working relationships with a range of staff.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work efficiently in a busy school environment.
  • Take a solutions-focused approach to tasks and challenges.
  • Demonstrate confidence using computer-based systems and the ability to quickly learn new systems, including OneSchool.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively and collaboratively as part of a team.
