As the Master Data Officer, you will drive master data integrity to ensure that master data in S/4HANA meets user requirements and can be relied upon for business decision making. You will be responsible for validating master data loaded into S/4HANA to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and business directions, and performing ongoing reviews and monitoring to ensure data quality standards are maintained.
What you'll do
- Manage, validate, and process changes to state-wide purchasing and logistics master data, or other master data, in accordance with relevant data management protocols, standards and governance requirements, noting this information will be relied upon by end users across Queensland Health for critical business decisions.
- Maintain the materials catalogue, pricing, and other data in SAP to ensure data integrity and alignment with contractual arrangements and other data sources. This data supports the Queensland Health supply chain and materials being available for purchase by clinicians and others at the right time, location, and price.
- Perform data analysis and prepare data for uploading to SAP, while ensuring data meets relevant quality requirements.
- Develop and implement consistent materials cataloguing guidelines which support end user, business, and vendor requirements across Queensland Health. Apply and adapt master data guidelines and management methods to end user requests based on professional judgement.
About you
We are searching for someone with:
- Relevant certifications in SAP, and qualifications or experience in Supply Chain whilst not mandatory will be regarded highly.
- Demonstrated specialist experience in master data management, analytics and processing using SAP and Excel in a large and complex organisation.
- Demonstrated understanding of procure-to-pay processes end to end and the business impacts of different, inter-connected data sets.
- Excellent communication and liaison skills, including demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and in a customer-focused manner by contributing to a positive relationship with customers and members of the team.
