What your day will look like….
Your day will be filled with meaningful clinical engagement—consulting on complex inpatient cases, guiding outpatient care, and collaborating with teams across the region. You'll provide expert input into infection control strategies and oversee the delivery of intravenous antibiotics in home settings, ensuring patients receive safe, effective care beyond hospital walls. You'll contribute to antimicrobial stewardship, mentor junior doctors, and help shape the future of infectious disease management through education and research. Whether you're leading a peer review, advising on policy, or responding to urgent clinical needs, your work will be dynamic, impactful, and deeply valued.
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value from $184,257 (L18) up to $230,175 (L27) comprising salary rates between $100.78 (L18) and $127.77 (L27) p.h., motor vehicle allowance, professional development allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., regional attraction allowance, professional indemnity cover and private practice arrangements. Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value.
