Perched on the edge of the Great Dividing Range, you'll be a pleasant 50 minutes' drive south to the large historic town of Warwick, with some of Queensland's finest original sandstone buildings along with heritage walks, steam train travel, museums and historic buildings, or 90 minutes from Brisbane on the Warrego Highway.

Harristown State High School is the largest secondary school in Toowoomba. Our enrolment exceeds 1,850 students and continues to increase, and so we operate across three distinct campuses. We provide the greatest number and variety of subject offerings for students across Years 7 to 10, and in Years 11 and 12, of any secondary school in Toowoomba, and rank highly in the state of Queensland. Our school is culturally diverse with our students originating from 46 different countries; our Year 7 enrolment is drawn from thirty-six primary schools.
