We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Canteen Assistant to join our canteen team.
Working alongside experienced team members, you will help prepare and serve healthy and nutritious meals to students and staff in a face paced environment.
This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity working 5.5 hours Tuesday to Friday (0.58FTE), 44 hours per fortnight.

About the Role:
As the Canteen Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school canteen.
Reporting to the Canteen Supervisor, responsibilities include:
- Preparing and serving fresh, healthy meals and snacks to students and staff.
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for food preparation and storage.
- Operating a cash register and handling transactions efficiently.
- Adhering to food safety and Workplace Health and Safety practices.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure the effective operation of the canteen.

About You:
This position would suit someone with the following traits:

- Displays good communication and customer services skills.
- A commitment to maintaining a safe and hygienic workspace.
- Food handling experience will be highly regarded
