The Role

An opportunity has become available for a Supervisor Training Officer (Food Services) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

  • Conduct training needs/gap analysis to identify opportunities for training and development
  • Evaluate and develop training plans in alignment with existing operational services frameworks
  • Plan, coordinate and deliver a range of learning opportunities
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training delivery and programs

About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or relevant qualification is highly desirable
  • Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
  • Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
  • Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
  • Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary

  • Permanent full time
  • Base salary ranging from $73 533 - $80 423 per annum

The Nutrition and Food Services department is committed to safe, effective and optimal nutrition management for adult and paediatric patients as wells as education and training, credentialing and scope of clinical practice, performance management reports, evidence-based care, monitoring of variation in clinical practice and health outcomes.
