The Department of Anaesthesia, Gladstone Hospital seeks invitations for a Principal House Officer (Anaesthesia). The position is to provide medical services in those areas under the direct and/or indirect supervision of the senior medical staff involved, and assists in the professional development and support of medical students.

Gladstone Hospital has a busy surgical outpatient clinic reviewing a wide variety of surgical conditions. There is a 29-bed mixed General Surgical and Medical Ward with the hospital performing approximately 1600 surgical cases.

Salary Information (L4 – L7):

Total remuneration value of up to $135,349.09 p.a. (L4), $147,109.92 p.a. (L7) (pro-rata) is comprised of;

  • A salary between $116,316.00 - $128,117.00 p.a. (pro-rata)
  •  12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
