About the role:
To assist Central Queensland and Central West Health Service Districts to meet Activity Based Funding data submission requirements by the accurate and timely coding of relevant inpatient episodes using the current edition of the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems, Tenth Revision, Australian Modification/ Australian Classification of Health Interventions/Australian Coding Standards (ICD-10-AM/ACHI/ACS).
About you:
- Successful completion of a medical terminology course, successful completion of an ICD-9-CM or ICD-10-AM clinical coding course and attainment of formal clinical coder accreditation / certification status.
- Minimum 2-3 years full-time equivalent Clinical Coding experience.
- Endorsement by coding management of demonstrated competent application of the knowledge and skills required to perform at the A04 level or Attainment of certain eligible coding qualifications (intermediary HIMAA or equivalent or higher).
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $114,177 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $45.81 - $50.46 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
