We are seeking experienced and highly skilled Anaesthetists to join our dynamic team in the Department of Anaesthetics at Bundaberg Hospital. As a Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality anaesthesia services across a wide range of specialties, including surgery, obstetrics, and intensive care. In this role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care and contribute to the teaching, mentoring, and professional development of junior medical staff. As part of a growing and supportive team, you will have the opportunity to influence clinical practice and help shape the future of anaesthesia services in our region.

Your opportunity:
- The Senior Staff Specialist/ Staff Specialist (Anaesthetist) provides specialist anaesthetic care and related medical services in the Department of Anaesthetics, Bundaberg Hospital.
- Assist the Clinical Director and Executive Director Bundaberg and Rurals to ensure clinical services provided are of the highest standard and delivered in an efficient and effective manner.
Opportunity for Private Practice:
The successful candidate may have the opportunity to establish private practice outside of their WBHHS appointment with local private hospitals. The successful candidate may receive assistance and concessions with:
- Use of the local private hospital's sessional rooms to allow establishment of practice and referral pathways
- Assistance with credentialling and administrative support to commence private practice
- Introduction to local GP's, physicians and surgeons to facilitate referral pathways.
Several Permanent Full Time (80 hours p.f.) and Permanent Part Time Positions (hours negotiable)

Our offer:
We are offering a competitive remuneration package value up to $528,085 p.a., including salary between $210,332 - $266,677 p.a., or salary rates between $100.77 - $127.77 p.h.
