The Wide Bay Public Health Unit is seeking a proactive and highly organised Business Support Officer to provide critical administrative and operational support to our dedicated public health team. This role is central to ensuring the smooth delivery of public health services across the region, including communicable disease surveillance, health promotion, and emergency response coordination. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the effective functioning of the unit and support initiatives that directly improve the health and wellbeing of our communities. Your opportunity: 

• To plan, coordinate, deliver, monitor and evaluate the provision of administration, human resources and financial services to Wide Bay Public Health Unit. Ensure the services provided are appropriate to the needs of this agency and are carried out efficiently and effectively, in line with recognised standards and financial accountability.
• To provide supervision of the Wide Bay Public Health Unit Administration staff in Hervey Bay & Bundaberg, and support to all Team leaders with all facets of Business Management at both sites

Our offer:  You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $114,177 p.a., comprising salary between $90,832 - $100,071 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO4) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hrs p.f.)
