About the Team

The Activity Based Funding and Performance Analysis team at Children's Health Queensland plays a vital role in supporting the organisation's financial and operational goals. By providing expert analysis, reporting, and strategic advice, the team helps optimise funding, improve service delivery, and enhance efficiency across the health service. Working closely with clinical and executive leaders, the team ensures data-driven decisions support the delivery of high-quality, sustainable care for children and young people.

About the Role

In this role you will deliver quality outcomes for children, young people and families (Leader of Self) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values. Your contribution will include:

  • Support the Principal Analyst, Business Intelligence and Performance Analysis in designing and developing innovative management reports, scorecards, and performance dashboards using contemporary business intelligence tools and data visualisation techniques. Your work will empower senior leaders with clear, actionable insights to support timely decision-making and drive continuous process improvement across the organisation.
  • Provide high-quality, timely reports and analysis, including commentary and recommendations on performance against key agreed indicators. Present these reports to enable effective decision-making aligned with targets, benchmarks, and key efficiency measures.
  • Deliver thorough analysis of complex healthcare data to support both strategic and operational decision-making, with a focus on improving health outcomes for Queensland children.
