About the role
Fixed term temporary full time or part time opportunity to deliver high quality, evidenced based advanced Occupational Therapy services to clients of the Mental Health Intensive Discharge Team (MIND), as part of an interprofessional team to expediate discharge for complex mental health consumers.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide expert guidance to service planning and lead implementation of evidence-based reviews and service evaluation activities to support continuous quality improvement and maintenance of clinical practice standards within MIND.
- Accurately and concisely record all patient interaction as well as workload measurement statistics, to facilitate the analysis of service trends and actively influence practice change.
- Provide professional leadership to less experienced Occupational Therapists and students within the MIND team, including supervision, and supporting participation in service improvement and research projects.
