Salary: Remuneration package of up to $110.268 p.a. (+ any other applicable allowances including rural and remote allowance and RANIP - employer provided assistance with accommodation may also be available for this position) comprising salary range of $87,796 - $94,010 p.a. (Nurse Grade 6), recreational leave loading (17.5%), and employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%).

About the Role
- Assume responsibility and accountability for ensuring Nursing and Midwifery Board Australia and own standards and actions (at advanced level) and the delegation and supervision of care to a Registered Nurse, Enrolled Nurse or unregulated healthcare worker including Assistants in Nursing.
- Contribute to the delivery, management and coordination of comprehensive nursing care in the Operating Theatre at an advanced level demonstrating professional leadership, clinical innovation, governance and risk management.
- Practice autonomously and provide advanced nursing leadership in planning, implementing and leading activities within the Theatres to support the planning and evaluation of unit and organisational goals, key performance indicators, Business Planning Framework (BPF), service profile and operational planning
Requirements
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse and possession of a current annual licence certificate is mandatory.
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/ manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
