An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) to join our Renal Services  team within the North Hospital and Health Service (NWHHS).

The Renal Service, based at the Mount Isa Hospital, provides a coordinated interdisciplinary approach to focus on prevention, early identification and management of people with all stages of chronic kidney disease (CKD) within a primary and community healthcare framework to optimise their health outcomes. The model of care consists of telehealth, home visits outpatient consultations, outreach visits and education programs.

The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) Renal Services (Vascular Access) in collaboration with the Nurse Unit Manager is responsible for providing advanced clinical and professional leadership in the delivery and coordination of patient-centred care, unit portfolio management and professional practice development for nursing and healthcare staff. The CNC is responsible for enhancing and enabling patient experience and outcomes by leading support, collaboration, and partnership with patient, families/carers and other health service providers at North West Hospital and Health Services.

 

Salary: Remuneration package of up to $140,711 p.a. comprising salary range of $113,261 - $122,964 p.a. (Nurse Grade 7), recreational leave loading (17.5%), and employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%).
