About the Role

Responsible for providing high level effective and confidential project support services to the Capital Delivery Team. Liaise, cooperate and advise/assist staff within Metro South Health Asset and Infrastructure Services and the broader Metro South HHS as required to ensure objectives are achieved. Provide project assistance, secretarial support, and administrative support to facilitate service delivery across Metro South Health Asset and Infrastructure Services.

  • Provide high level project support to the Capital Delivery Team in the planning and delivery of capital projects across Metro South Health.
  • Provide administrative skills of a high standard including the use of Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project), electronic databases, record and diary management systems.
  • Ability to understand project terminology, basic experience working with key stakeholders, and the ability to drive and meet project deadlines associated with the PCP.
  • Develop procedural guidelines within scope of position to increase efficiency and actively participate in review of processes for implementation of continual improvement.
  • Understanding of project management timelines and methodology including the creation and understanding of work schedules and Gantt charts.
  • Coordinate meetings, produce and distribute agendas and minutes as required and provide secretariat support to project meetings as required.
  • Use effective communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders.  Maintain the ability to exercise discretion when dealing with confidential or sensitive documentation and/or issues.
