Metro South Oral Health Service is looking for a Travelling Senior Dentist to join their team. Metro South Oral Health is the largest public provider in the State. It delivers a comprehensive range of services to an eligible adult population and children and adolescents from four (4) years of age until the completion of Year 10 in secondary school. The Service provides family centred and paediatric primary oral health care and a range of secondary and specialist care from 17 different facilities.

About the Role

• Travel to remote HHS across Queensland to provide all aspects of general and emergency oral health care, utilising currently accepted infection control practices, for attending patients.
• Accurately assess and treat patients and ensure appropriate referral of patients for specialist services.
• When required, assume responsibility for the oral health care of special needs patients, those with complex treatment requirements and/or complaint patients.
• Work in a professional relationship with Oral Health/Dental Therapists as required, which can include supervision or oversight.
• Provide clinical leadership for, supervision and support to dental officers as required or when requested
