Department of Anaesthetics and Acute Pain Management are looking for a Anaesthetics – Provisional Fellow to join their team. The Anaesthetics Provisional Fellow will provide elective and emergency anaesthetic services and contribute actively to training, education, quality improvement and clinical review activities within the Department of Anaesthesia and Acute Pain Management and in associated clinical activities (e.g. pain management) within the Metro South Health Service.

About the Role 

• Review quality of patient care by participating in peer review and hospital wide and departmental quality assurance programs, including clinical audit, staff development education and research activities.
• Provide support and giving commitment to the human resource practices and policies, including workplace health and safety, equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination, implemented at the QEII Hospital and MSHHS.
• Follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplace.
