Queensland Tissue Bank (QTB) are looking for a Manager - Business Operations to join their team. QTB is Queensland's sole facility for the provision of donated human tissues for therapeutic use. QTB performs all stages of tissue procurement including donor identification, screening and consent; and all stages of tissue preparation including retrieval, processing, storage, despatch, and quality management. Of the Australian states, Queensland has the largest tissue bank and provides therapeutic tissue products for both local and interstate use. QTB plays a part in informing both state and national policy on tissue banking.

About the Role
- Provide regular strategic advice and manage the development and delivery of financial and business support functions for QTB (e.g., administration, finance, procurement, contracts, human resources).
- Manage, and coordinate a skilled administrative workforce to support clinical service delivery across QTB service.
- Act as a point of guidance, intervention, or escalation by being responsive to staff needs during periods of high volume and/or unusual time-critical or challenging situations to ensure that staff are supported, and administrative services continue to support the delivery of clinical services.
- Deliver systems and procedures related to finance, procurement and service administration and conduct quality audits regularly to ensure data integrity and tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
