Your new Role:

The Operating Theatre Floor Coordinator leads and guides the nursing team, overseeing daily operations to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality care aligned with current standards and best practices.

They are responsible for coordinating patient care and managing the day-to-day functions of the service to support effective and efficient theatre operations.

• Utilise advanced specialist clinical knowledge to evaluate the standard of patient care provided by the nursing team and report outcomes associated with findings.

• Maintain high level interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills with members of the health care team, patients/residents/clients, and visitors to the service.
• A commitment to delivering excellence in all aspects of your work
• The capacity to balance workload to ensure timely patient care

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.

We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.

Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
