Mental Health Inpatient Services are looking for an Enrolled Nurse Advanced Skills to join their team. The Enrolled Nurse Advanced Skills (ENAS) practices under predominantly indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN); utilising advanced clinical skills to provide evidence-based person-centred care within PAH Mental Health Inpatient Unit, East Wing and HDU. The ENAS applies their depth of knowledge, experience, and competence to effectively develop, provide and evaluate patient care, with regular communication and/or assistance from the RN.

About the Role
Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health) Award - State 2015 – Generic Level Statements (GLS) Nurse Grade 4 and the Queensland Health and Metro South Health (MSH) commitments and values, in achievement of the organisational goals and Domains of Practice.
▪ Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) as an Enrolled Nurse (EN). Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervision/manager prior to the commencement of employment.
▪ Whilst not mandatory, an Advanced Diploma of Nursing qualification or currently enrolled in a post graduate program in a relevant area of study is highly desirable.
▪ Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster.
▪ This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle, and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided before commencement of duty.
