Operational Support Services are looking for a Theatre Assistant to join their team. Redland Hospital is a 188-bed acute secondary teaching hospital. Redland specialises in integrated care with close and effective links with the local GP services and the community. The purpose to the position is to provide assistance to Medical and Nursing staff, by following established standards and procedures within a highly compatible and supportive Operating Theatre environment.

About the Role

• Assist Clinical/Medical staff as required and be able to operate independently or as part of a clinical team.
• Work with Operating Suite equipment and set up theatres for surgical requirements according to set guidelines.
• Transport, move and position patients within operating theatre complex as required.
