Senior Radiographer / Sonographer

Medical Imaging are looking for a Senior Radiographer / Sonographer to join their team. The Division of Diagnostic Radiology provides a 24-hour clinical support service. The Department incorporates a complete Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and Radiology Information System (RIS). All general radiological services including mammography as well as advanced imaging services, including nuclear medicine and PET imaging, ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, all major angiography and vascular interventional procedures, including cardiac examinations, are provided.

About the Role
- Continually develop clinical practice knowledge, skills and expertise through self-directed learning, active learning within a team environment and engaging in professional development activities, including participation in the performance appraisal and development plans.
- Liaise and work effectively in a professional manner with patients and their cares, other health professionals, students, and external agencies to achieve a patient centred approach, utilising negotiation, and conflict resolution skills as required.
- Assist in the identification, development, implementation and/or review of clinical practices, procedures and protocols in work areas using the principles of evidence-based practice under the guidance of senior staff.
- Apply increasingly independent clinical judgement to ultrasound and radiography complex decision making and only occasional clinical/professional supervision.
