Your new role:

As a Clinical Nurse in the Neonatal Service, you will deliver advanced clinical care to preterm and unwell infants while supporting their families through a family-centred model of care. This role combines leadership, education, and evidence-based practice to ensure safe and high-quality neonatal services.

• Provide advanced neonatal nursing care to infants from 32 weeks gestation.
• Lead and support the multidisciplinary team in delivering family-centred care.
• Mentor, guide, and supervise junior staff, students, and assistants.
• Contribute to research, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice initiatives.

About you:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled neonatal nurse who thrives in complex clinical environments and is committed to delivering exceptional care.

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
• Advanced knowledge and skills in neonatal nursing practice and theory.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities within multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to reflective practice, service improvement, and family-centred care.

We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.

Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
