Who We Are:
Ripley Valley State Secondary College opened in 2020 and currently caters for over 1500 students in Years 7 to 12 in 2026. The College is in a rapid growth area and will accommodate more than 2000 students when at full capacity.

Submit Your Application:
- Provide leadership and guidance for the implementation of innovative measures aimed at improving student learning outcomes and attendance in schools where a significant percentage of students may have a disadvantaged background, ensuring quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Where requested, prepare all data returns for the Principal.
- Provide management and engagement strategies including induction activities of new arrivals, and advise on specific academic, social and emotional needs of new arrivals.
- Monitor students' individual performance and behaviour and develop and implement intervention strategies where necessary.
- Communicate and work with parents, staff, higher education institutes and State Schools Division to develop strategies to improve learning outcomes, student achievements and attendance.

The Perfect Fit:
This opportunity requires the successful candidate to have strong knowledge of diverse learners and inclusive practices, whilst also demonstrating flexibility, independence, leadership, and effective communication skills. The successful applicant would ideally commence duties at the start of Term 2, 2026
The ideal applicant should have a strong working knowledge of inclusive practices as well the supports and interventions that can be used to assist diverse learners engage with the Australian Curriculum.
The successful candidate must provide leadership and direction for the whole school as it relates to diverse learners, inclusive practices and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) across all learning areas and phases with a particular focus on years 7-9.
The successful applicant will be required to case manage Extensive and Substantial students within our MTSS, and lead a support staff team to improve learning outcomes for all students. The applicant should have experience in NCCD, RAR, ICP and PLP processes to improve student outcomes.
