EOI - Deputy Principal - Forest Lake State High School

Forest Lake State High School is seeking an aspirant leader with high-quality leadership skills and knowledge in the senior schooling area.
This 10-week position involves supporting the two Senior Pathways Heads of Department to monitor and track academic targets in Years 10–12, assisting students to achieve their aspirational pathways. It also provides line of sight across Year 11 and 12 student behaviour, attendance and wellbeing.
You will work collaboratively with Guidance Officers and Year Level Coordinators to support students and their families. You will have line management opportunities in the curriculum area of Mathematics.

Your opportunity
Forest Lake State High School is located in Forest Lake, south-west Brisbane, serving a diverse and engaged community.
As Deputy Principal, you will play a key role in shaping school-wide improvement, leading high-quality teaching and learning, and supporting the Principal in the strategic and operational leadership of the school. The role involves building strong partnerships, guiding staff and student performance, and ensuring inclusive, future-focused practices.
