Redbank Plains State High School is seeking three experienced and capable educators to join our leadership team as Heads of Student Services (known locally as Deans).

These roles provide an opportunity to lead initiatives that strengthen student wellbeing, engagement, and positive learning outcomes across the school.

As Heads of Student Services, you will work closely with members of the Executive Team and school leadership team to support a positive and inclusive school culture.

The roles focus on improving student engagement, outcomes, attendance and behaviour, while strengthening relationships between students, staff, families and the wider community.

The Heads of Student Services play a critical role in promoting a culture of care, high expectations and belonging across the school community.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading and coordinating student wellbeing and engagement initiatives.
  • Monitoring student attendance, behaviour and achievement data to inform targeted interventions.
  • Supporting staff to implement effective wellbeing, behaviour and engagement strategies.
  • Strengthening partnerships with families, community organisations and external agencies to support students' academic, social and emotional needs.
  • Contributing to whole-school improvement priorities through collaborative leadership and strategic planning.
