We are seeking Head of Department - English/Humanities who is a futures-focused leader, confident with the Australian Curriculum Version 9 and leading a supportive and high-performing faculty with student outcomes at the core. This is a temporary full-time position commencing 01 June 2026 until 25 May 2027 unless otherwise determined.

About the Role:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Lead the department in developing and committing to a shared, future-focused educational vision that delivers high-quality outcomes for all students.
- Embed inclusive and socially just practices while fostering strong partnerships with students, families, agencies, and the wider community.
- Set and maintain high expectations for student achievement and staff performance.
- Engage in continuous professional learning and apply a sound understanding of relevant legislation and policies impacting the department.
- Strategically manage human, financial, facility, and curriculum resources to achieve departmental goals.
