About the Role

Perform operational tasks associated with providing the highest quality service to all clients in accordance with legislation, established standards and procedures.

• Actively participate as a team in the day-to-day food preparation activities of a food services department, including receipt and storage of goods as per the par level systems provided, the assembly and distribution of meals and menu items and functions.
• Maintain work areas to the required standards of food safety, cleanliness, and state of repair in accordance with the Food Safety Legislation, Food Service Standards and Workplace Health and Safety requirements including workplace equity and anti-discrimination.
• Effectively communicate with and display care and consideration when dealing with patients, staff and the public ensuring all work-related information remains strictly confidential.
• Ensure cost efficient measures are applied in the use of all materials and overheads, including any breakages and wastage.

The Process

This Expression of Interest collects a variety of information that will help identify potentially suitable applicants for future casual and temporary employment opportunities.
