Maryborough Central State School is seeking a motivated and friendly Administrative Officer to join our front office team.
In this key role, you will support the school community by delivering efficient, professional service and upholding our values.
This temporary AO2 position at 0.83 FTE (6 hours daily plus ADO) is a great opportunity to contribute to a supportive and dynamic school environment.

About the Role 

As the Administrative Officer, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 

  • Answer phone calls
  • Assist with front counter enquiries, including confidential parent and student communications
  • Support student enquiries at the counter
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable
  • Provide general first aid and administer medication
  • Assist the Head of Department, Principal, and Business Manager with school events and daily tasks
  • Perform general data entry
  • Use computer applications, including word processing and Microsoft Office
  • Handle filing and archiving
