Who We Are:

The suburb of Baringa is situated just 7km south west of the Caloundra beach precinct including the iconic Golden, Bullcock and Kings Beaches.

The community is growing quickly and is estimated to be home to approximately 50,000 residents in the next 20 years.  

Baringa State Secondary College opened its doors for the first time in 2021, when Year 7 and 8 students commenced at the college. In 2025, we celebrated our first cohort of foundation students graduating Year 12. 

Step Into Your Next Chapter:

The role will lead the student support services team, as well as lead, manage and support our high functioning Health and Physical Education faculty.

Roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Whole college oversight of behaviour management processes, initiatives and change
  • Triangulate One school data to analyse trends and patterns to inform Positive Behaviour for Learning focus
  • Develop and implement specialised programs to support students to improve resilience, respectful behaviours
  • Work closely with the Deputy Principal – Line Manager and other student support team members to deliver improved outcomes for students
  • Lead and manage Student Support meetings
  • Lead the First Nations Learning Story, attendance and wellbeing
  • Lead Curriculum development, refinement and review (Australian Curriculum, QCAA, VET) HPE; HPE pedagogy development
  • Oversee the extracurricular programs for HPE subjects
