We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Head of Department (Curriculum) to support teachers across all Key Learning Areas (KLAs), with a specific and targeted focus on Mathematics. The successful applicant will be a collaborative and strategic leader who can work effectively with teachers, curriculum leaders, students, parents and the wider school community.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead curriculum planning and implementation aligned with school and departmental priorities.
  • Improve the quality of teaching and learning and student outcomes.
  • Develop and promote a shared educational vision across the school.
  • Build positive relationships with students, staff, parents and community stakeholders.
  • Set and maintain high standards for student and staff performance.
  • Promote inclusive and socially just practices.
  • Lead strategic planning, innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Support professional learning and development of staff.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant education legislation, policies and procedures.
  • Effectively manage curriculum, human, financial and facility resources.
