Mount Fox State School is a small, remote school located approximately one hour's drive from Ingham. The school serves as the central hub of a close-knit community, offering a picturesque environment and is supported by dedicated staff and enthusiastic students. As an active member of the Ingham cluster of small schools, Mount Fox State School maintains strong professional and educational connections where students are actively involved in interschool sporting, educational and cultural activities throughout the year.

Mount Fox State School employs experienced teacher aides and support staff who work closely with students to achieve their educational goals ensuring individual learning needs are met. About the Role

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Shared Vision and Strategic Direction: Lead the school community in developing and implementing a shared, future-focused vision that prioritises high-quality learning outcomes for every student.
• Ethical, Inclusive and Just Leadership: Demonstrate values-based and ethical leadership while embedding socially just, inclusive and equitable practices throughout school life.
• High Expectations and Continuous Improvement: Set high expectations for student and staff performance and foster a culture of lifelong learning, professional growth and continuous improvement.
• Partnerships and Community Engagement: Build strong, collaborative partnerships with parents, government agencies, community organisations, industry and business to enhance opportunities and outcomes for students.
• Governance, Policy and Resource Management: Understand and apply relevant legislation and policies, and strategically manage people, resources and finances to achieve school priorities and goals.
